Los diseños de uñas tie-dye van desde versiones muy elaboradas como el clásico tie-dye espiral multicolor o el tie-dye jaspeado, que precisan aplicación profesional, hasta versiones menos complicadas, como el tie-dye de efecto manchado, que se puede recrear fácilmente en casa y proporciona un acabado más fresco y relajado a esta tendencia.

Puedes elegir más de dos colores para crear tu diseño tie-dye, pero centrarse en sólo dos simplifica mucho el proceso.
To recreate easy tie-dye nails at home you need a white nail polish, a glossy top coat, two pastel hued nail polishes, some plastic bag cutouts and a thin manicure brush. Tie-dye nails look specially nice on a white canvas. When choosing the colors you will be using to create the tie-dye effect, make sure they are light-shaded, preferably on the pastel side and with opaque formulas. This way it will be much easier to achieve the bleached and faded effect so distinctive of tie-dye prints. You can go for more than two colors to create your tie-dye design, but sticking to two shades simplifies the process.

Trabaja uña a uña. Aplica dos gotas de cada tono en la uña asegurándote de que tengan poca cantidad de esmalte y no se derramen. Cambia la ubicación de las gotas en cada uña para que el diseño quede desigualado e irregular y lograr un efecto más natural y abstracto.
Work nail by nail. Apply two drops of each shade to your nail with little nail polish to avoid flooding your cuticules. Slightly change the drops location on each nail to get an uneven and irregular design, for a more natural and abstract effect.
Trabaja rápidamente para evitar que las gotas se sequen. Aplica uno de los recortes de plástico sobre la uña, presiona suavemente y desplaza de un lado a otro de la uña el trozo de plástico para que se mezclen y expandan las gotas de esmalte. Retira el plástico y utiliza el pincel para retocar el resultado, si alguna gota no ha quedado bien diluida.
Work quickly to avoid the drops getting dry. Apply one of the plastic cutouts on your nail, press gently and make shifting movements with the plastic cutout to mix and spread out the nail polish drops. Remove the plastic and use the brush to touch up the result, if any drop didn’t fade well enough.
Repite el procedimiento en cada uña para completar el efecto tie-dye. Recuerda trabajar uña a uña para no dar tiempo a que se sequen las gotas de esmalte. No importa que el efecto se vea algo rugoso, al aplicar el top coat final lograrás el acabado desdibujado perfecto.
Repeat the procedure for each nail to complete the tie-dye effect. Remember to work nail by nail to avoid the nail polish drops getting dry. Don’t worry if the effect looks a little rough, the top coat will provide the perfect blurred finish.
