Al tener el pelo seco, débil, quebradizo y con tendencia al encrespamiento siempre estoy buscando productos capilares nuevos que puedan ayudarme a reparar y fortalecer mi cabello. Me encanta llevar el pelo largo, es mi look característico, pero también me gusta llevar una rutina de cuidado capilar sencilla. Atrás quedaron los días que solía pasar horas en el baño aplicando acondicionadores, mascarillas y productos de peinado que en realidad lo único que hacían era apelmazar mi pelo y acumular producto, haciendo que mi cabello se viera sucio y graso al poco tiempo de lavarlo. Así que últimamente mi objetivo es encontrar productos altamente efectivos pero a la vez ligeros y respetuosos con el cabello que simplifiquen mi rutina.

The only thing that was stopping me was the price. At 34€, I had to think twice before buying it, as I was unable to find a mini size. I finally decided to try it and these are my thoughts on this shampoo.

Es como utilizar un champú clarificante pero sin que mi pelo quede áspero y reseco. Todos los champús clarificantes que he probado dejan en mayor o menor medida mi pelo reseco. Con K18 Peptide Prep pH Maintenance Shampoo mi cabello queda más ligero y limpio y es más manejable. Este champú limpia mi cuero cabelludo y mi cabello profundamente, pero sin alterar el cuero cabelludo ni resecar el cabello, que queda super suave, como si hubiera aplicado acondicionador pero sin el peso y residuo que deja en el cabello. Además, mi pelo se mantiene limpio por más tiempo. Puedo alargar un día extra cómo mínimo y además el pelo está menos graso en las raíces.

K18 Peptide Prep pH Maintenance Shampoo is not the average shampoo. One of the things that impressed me the most about this shampoo is how deeply cleanses my hair. It feels like if I had used a clarifying shampoo but without leaving my hair like straw. To a lesser or greater extend, all clarifying shampoos I tried leave my hair feeling stripped When I use K18 Peptide Prep PH Maintenance Shampoo my hair feels light and clean and it’s more manageable. This shampoo truly gets my scalp and hair clean yet it doesn’t strip my scalp or leaves my hair dry, as if I had used conditioner but with no build up at all. In addition, my hair stays cleaner and fresher for longer. I can go an extra day without washing my hair which stays less greasy at the roots.

Uno de los cambios más apreciables que noto en mi cabello cuando utilizo este champú es que desenreda al siguiente nivel. Mi cabello es muy largo, por lo que los enredos son un problema frecuente, tanto con el cabello húmedo como seco. Este champú deja mi cabello húmedo suave y fácil de peinar y esto es sin usar acondicionador. Para obtener los mejores resultados,  la mascarilla K18 Hair Mask se tiene que aplicar sobre el cabello húmedo solo lavado con champú, sin utilizar acondicionador, mascarillas u otros tratamientos para el cabello. Asimismo, cuando mi pelo está seco, se me enreda mucho cuando estoy al aire libre, especialmente cuando hace viento. Cuando uso este champú noto que el cepillado es mucho más fácil.

One of the most noticeable changes I feel in my hair when I use this shampoo is that it detangles to the next level. My hair is very long, so tangles are a frequent issue, both with wet and dry hair. This shampoo leaves my towel dried hair soft and easy to comb and this is without using conditioner. To get best results with K18 Hair Mask, directions are to apply on towel dried hair and only washed with shampoo, without any conditioner, masks or other haircare treatments on. Likewise, when my hair is dry, my mid-lengths get tangled, especially when I’m outdoors and it’s windy. When I use this shampoo I can feel the brushing is much easier and much smoother.

One of the things I most love about this shampoo is that it makes my hair look healthier and full of body. I have struggled with thin hair the last couple of years and K18 has been a complete game changer. This shampoo not only doesn’t weight my hair down but also makes it look fuller. Not flat or greasy or dry hair, just right, natural hair and lots of body.

En resumen, este champú deja mi pelo súper limpio y súper suave al tacto. Mi pelo se nota y se ve definitivamente más sano, más sedoso, con más cuerpo y menos encrespado. In overall, this shampoo leaves my hair feeling super clean and very soft to the touch. My hair feels and looks definitely healthier, silkier and fuller. It also helps to reduce frizz. It comes at a steep price, but considering it does what it claims so effectively, it’s absolutely a good investment and it’s worth it. Plus you can expect this shampoo to last much more than any regular shampoo. As it happens with K18 Hair Mask, a little bit of this peptide shampoo goes a long way, and you won’t be needing much product to wash your hair and leave it perfectly clean and healthy. If your hair is healthy, don’t even consider buying this shampoo and spending an amount of money that won’t make any substantial benefits to your hair There are many other affordable options that work wonders for healthy hair.
