As much as I love skincare and I find it extremely useful to address many of my skin concerns, sometimes skincare is not enough. Microcurrents stimulate facial muscles to contract and relax. In this process, microcurrents promote collagen and elastin production to tone, lift and tighten the skin. Mi experiencia con ZIIP Halo My experience with ZIIP Halo

En cosmética, y en casi todo en la vida, la constancia es clave. Cuando se trata de dispositivos de belleza, la idea es elegir uno que sea fácil de integrar en tu rutina diaria, y ZIIP Halo es exaactamente eso. Una de las cosas que realmente me encanta de este dispositivo es lo fácil que es de usar.. El dispositivo es súper ligero, pequeño y de forma ovalada, por lo que es muy fácil de sostener e ideal para facilitar su manejo. Además, está genialmente diseñado para llegar a todas las zonas y contornos del rostro, gracias a sus dos globos plateados estratégicamente situados que se encargan de transmitir las corrientes a la piel. Llevo un par de semanas usándolo y hasta la fecha, estoy muy impresionada con el dispositivo. El primer día me dediqué a aprender a utilizarlo y a descubrir todo su potencial con los diferentes tratamientos que incluye. Enseguida te haces a la idea de como utilizarlo y de que se trata de un dispositivo de alta calidad.

In skincare, and almost in everything in life, consistency is key. When it comes to skincare devices, the idea is choosing  one to make it part of your daily routine and ZIIP Halo is exactly this. One of the things I truly love about ZIIP Halo is how easy it is to use it regularly. The device is very lightweight, small and oval-shaped, which is great for easy manageability. In addition, the device is smartly designed to reach all face areas and contours, thanks to the strategically placed silver globes that transfer the currents into the skin. I have been using the ZIIP Halo for a couple of weeks and so far, I’m very impressed with it. The first day was all about learning how to use it and discovering all the potential of the device with the different treatments it includes. You can tell right away this is a high quality beauty device and it hardly takes time to get to use it.

Los tratamientos The treatments

El dispositivo incluye un tratamiento predeterminado llamado The Lift. Este tratamiento solo dura 4 minutos y utiliza microcorrientes y nanocorrientes para reafirmar y tonificar la piel. Es muy fácil de realizar y deja la piel tersa y tonificada al instante.

El resto de los tratamientos se activan a través de la App ZIIP, que se descarga en el móvil y se transfiere por Bluetooth. Puede parecer complicado, pero te aseguro que es facilísimo de configurar, incluso para alguien como yo, que no se le da muy bien la tecnología. La App es realmente útil y recomiendo totalmente usarla junto con el dispositivo para sacar el máximo partido a tu ZIIP Halo.

La App incluye 13 tratamientos diferentes, cada uno con su propio tutorial para que te familiarices con el tratamiento. En mi experiencia, basta con ver el tutorial un par de veces para memorizado. Estos son los tratamientos disponibles:

• The Lift: 4 minutos e intensidad 2 para reafirmar, esculpir e iluminar la piel.
• Instant Gratifcation: 6 minutos e intensidad 3 para reafirmar y definir los rasgos al instante.
• All Inclusive: 12 minutos e intensidad 2 para reafirmar el rostro, suavizar las líneas de expresión y dar volumen a la piel.
• Founder’s Favorite: 10 minutos e intensidad 1 para suavizar la textura y reafirmar la piel (solo con nanocorriente).
• Problem Solver: 4 minutos e intensidad 2 para mejorar la textura, atenuar las imperfecciones y aclarar la tez.
• Electric Tone: 4 minutos è intensidad 2 para neutralizar la decoloración e iluminar la piel.
• Lips: 2 minutos e intensidad 2 para crear unos labios con aspecto más joven y más voluminosos.
• Jowls: 3 minutos è intensidad 2 para definir y levantar la papada.
• Contour: 2 minutos e intensidad 2 para esculpir los pómulos y la línea de la mandíbula.
• De Puff: 2 minutos e intensidad 2 para deshinchar y refrescar la piel.
• Eyes: 3 minutos e intensidad 2 para realzar el contorno de los ojos, deshinchar y reducir las ojeras.
• Plump: 2 minutos e intensidad 2 para restaurar el volumen de las mejillas, alrededor de la boca y el contorno de los ojos.
• Brow Lift: 3 minutos e intensidad 2 para suavizar las líneas de expresión y definir las cejas.

Cada tratamiento utiliza diferentes intensidades y corrientes para tratar problemas específicos de la piel y diferentes zonas del rostro. Mis tratamientos favoritos son The Lift, All Inclusive, Jowls and Eyes. Utilizo el dispositivo día si y día no, centrándome en el tratamiento The Lift complementándolo con un tratamiento corto de la parte del rostro que quiero tratar. Utilizo el tratamiento All Inclusive los fines de semana y el tratamiento Instant Gratification cuando tengo alguna ocasión especial.

El ZIIP Halo tiene una batería de larga duración, lo cual es una gran ventaja si se usa regularmente. Se carga fácilmente con su cable USB específico conectado a un adaptador de corriente USB.

The device comes with a default treatment called The Lift. This treatment only takes 4 minutes and it uses microcurrents and nanocurrents to lift and tone skin. The treatment is super easy to do and it instantly leaves skin lifted and toned.

The rest of the treatments need to be activated through the ZIIP App, which you download on your mobile and transfer the treatments via Bluetooth. It may sound complicated, but I promise it’s really easy to set up, even for someone like me who is not very good at technology. The App is really useful and helpful and I highly recommend to use the device with the App to make most of your ZIIP Halo.

The App includes 13 different treatments and each of them has its own tutorial for you to get to know the treatment. In my own experience, it’s enough watching the tutorial twice to do it from memory onwards. These are the available treatments:    

• The Lift: 4 minutes intensity 2 to lift, sculpt and brighten skin.
• Instant Gratifcation: 6 minutes intensity 3 to instantly lift, contour and define features.
• All Inclusive: 12 minutes intensity 2 to tighten complexion, soften fine lines and plump skin.
• Founder’s Favorite: 10 minutes intensity 1 to smooth texture and tighten skin, only using nanocurrent.
• Problem Solver:4 minutes intensity 2 to improve texture, fade blemishes and clarify complexion.
• Electric Tone: 4 minutes intensity 2 to neutralize discoloration and brighten the skin.
• Lips: 2 minutes intensity 2 to create more youthful and fuller looking lips.
• Jowls; 3 minutes intensity 2 to define and lift the jowls
• Contour: 2 minutes intensity 2 to sculp cheeks bones and jaw-line.
• De-Puff: 2 minutes intensity 2 to depuff and refresh skin.
• Eyes: 3 minutes intensity 2 to elevate the eye area, depuff and reduce dark circles.
• Plump: 2 minutes intensity 2 to restore fullness to cheeks, mouth and eye area.
• Brow Lift: 3 minutes intensity 2 to soften frown lines and define brows.

Each treatment uses different intensities and currents to address particular skin concerns and focus on a different part of your face. My favorite treatments are The Lift, All Inclusive, Jowls and Eyes. I use the device every other day, focusing on the The Lift treatment together with a complementary short treatment for a partiular part of my face. I use the All Inclusive treatment at the weekends. I also love suing the Instant Gratification treatment before a special occasion.  

This device has a very long lasting battery, which is a great pro when using it regularly. It charges up easily with a USB specific cable that comes with the device connected into a USB power adapter.

Los geles conductores The conductive gels

Para que las corrientes del dispositivo puedan alcanzar los músculos faciales es necesario utilizar un gel conductor. Recibí dos geles ZIIP para probar junto con el dispositivo. Los geles ZIIP tienen una textura muy interesante que los hace perfectos para usar con el dispositivo. La textura es bastante viscosa tipo aceite pero no se nota grasa en la piel. El gel se mantiene en la piel sin secarse, lo cual es perfecto para deslizar el dispositivo fácilmente sin tener que reaplicar gel todo el tiempo.

A conductive gel needs to be used for the device currents reaching the facial muscles. I received two ZIIP gels to try together with the device. The ZIIP gels have a very interesting texture that makes them perfect to use together with the device. The texture is quite viscous with an oil-like qualityl that doesn’t feel greasy. The gel stays on skin without drying, which is perfect to glide the device effortlestty without having to reaply gel all the time.

Electric Complex Gel

El Electric Complex Gel es un gel conductor básico con una textura similar al aceite que hace que deslizar el dispositivo sobre la piel sea de lo más sencillo y agradable. Sin tirones ni frenos, solo un deslizamiento súper plácido.

The Electric Complex Gel is a basic conductive gel with an oil-like texture that makes gliding the device on your face a joy. No pulling or tugging, just effortless gliding.   

Silver Gel

El Silver Gel es ideal para piel seca, deshidratada y sensible. También tiene una textura similar al aceite, pero más espesa que el gel conductor Electric Complex Gel. Incluye dos tipos de ácido hialurónico, miel y extracto de té verde para hidratar y calmar la piel. Este gel ofrece beneficios cosméticos que potencian los tratamientos. El gel puede permanecer en la piel durante 20 minutos actuando como una mascarilla post-tratamiento. Además, tiene una fragancia muy agradable y delicada.

The Silver Gel is best for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin. Also with an oil-like texture but thicker than the Electric Complex Gel, it includes two types of hyaluronic acid, honey and green tea extract to hydrate and soothe the skin. This gel offers skincare benefits which enhance the treatments. The gel can be left on skin for 20 minutes working as a post treatment mask. It also has a lovely delicate fragrance.

Lo que me gusta de ZIIP Halo What I love of ZIIP Halo

Me encanta este dispositivo porque puedo crear mi propia rutina según las necesidades de mi piel. El dispositivo tiene muchos tratamientos y puedo combinarlos según la parte del rostro que quiero tratar o el problema que quiero corregir. Es realmente muy versátil. El dispositivo proporciona resultados inmediatos dejando mi piel tonificada, tersa y luminosa. Después de cada tratamiento noto que las corrientes realmente han hecho algo: mi piel queda ligeramente sonrosada, con más vida y rejuvenecida.

I love this device because I can curate my own routine depending on my skin needs. The device has many treatments and I can pair them depending on what part of my face I want to focus on or the skin concern I need to address. It’s definitely very versatile. The device offers instant results leaving my skin toned, smooth and glowing. After each treatment, I can feel the currents have truly done something: my skin is slightly flushed and it looks more alive and youthful.

El dispositivo se ilumina al encenderlo y vibra cada cierto tiempo para marcar el ritmo en el que se deben realizar las pasadas. El dispositivo se puede utilizar en cualquier momento del día, pero personalmente me encanta usarlo por las noches, ya que es como un mini tratamiento de salón de belleza. El simple hecho del masaje que se experimenta al deslizar el dispositivo, así como las vibraciones que va realizando, es muy agradable y eleva mi rutina de belleza a la perfección. La sensación es muy suave en la piel y espero con ganas cada sesión porque se trata de una experiencia muy relajante. Solo noto una pequeña sensación de hormigueo cuando lo deslizo por zonas sensibles, pero solo ocasionalmente y con los tratamientos intensos. La mayor parte de los tratamientos, sólo noto una pequeña vibración que resulta muy agradable. Me encanta usarlo para reafirmar y esculpir mi rostro complementando los beneficios de mis cosméticos. En estas 2 semanas, el aspecto general de mi piel ha mejorado. Noto que está más tersa, elástica y tonificada. Obviamente, mis arrugas no han desaparecido, pero si se ven algo más atenuadas, especialmente las de mi frente y las patas de gallo. Tengo muchas ganas de averiguar si después de 8 semanas de uso continuado voy a notar una mejora en la firmeza de la piel, sobre todo en la zona de la mandíbula y alrededor de los surcos nasogenianos, así como en la reducción de arrugas. Actualizaré esta publicación con mi experiencia después de usarlo regularmente durante 8 semanas.

The device lights up when you switch it on and it vibrates every so often to guide the timing of the strokes. The device can be used any time of the day, but I personally love using it in the evenings, as it feels like a mini beauty salon treatment, The simple massage of gliding the device on my skin, as well as the the vibrations, make the experience very pleasant and relaxing, a self-care moment that elevates my skincare routine. It feels very gentle on my skin and I actually look forward to each session for the relaxing experience. I can only feel a slight tingling sensation when gliding over sensitive areas, but only occasionally and only when using the intense treatments. For the majority of the treatments, I only feel a gentle vibration that feels pleasant. I love using it to lift and sculpt my face whilst enhancing the benefits of my skincare products. In these two weeks, the overall appearance of my skin has definitely improved. It looks more sculpted, elastic and toned. My wrinkles are not obviously gone, but they look smoother, specially the ones in my forehead and around my eyes. I’m really looking forward to seeing the results in 8 weeks time in terms of firmer and lifted skin in my jawline and the folds around my mouth as well as wrinkle reduction. I will report back to share my experience after 8 weeks of consistent use.

Este dispositivo mejora mi rutina de cuidado facial a perfección. Me encanta el poder transformador que tiene para mejorar el aspecto de mi piel. Después de cada tratamiento noto que mi rostro está más tonificado y rejuvenecido. Mi piel se ve sencillamente mejor y más revitalizada, con aspecto de buena cara. Me gusta el hecho de que puedo customizar los tratamientos para un uso totalmente personalizado, decidiendo cuanto quiero que duren, así como que parte del rostro quiero tratar o el problema de la piel que quiero corregir. Esto hace que el dispositivo sea de lo más versátil y contribuye a que se use de forma continuada. Me encanta usarlo para una sesión de belleza relajante y gratificante porque es muy fácil de usar y los tratamientos son muy agradables y relajantes. El ZIIP Halo es un dispositivo de alta calidad que proporciona resultados de salón de belleza en casa. No me extraña que Jennifer Aniston y Margot Robbie estén encantadas con este dispositivo, yo ya no puedo vivir sin él!
