It’s interesting to see that you don’t advocate for completely different denim tones. Instead you chose to go for somewhat similar tones.
Most style guides I’ve seen tend to recommend wildly different washes (eg dark denim with a light stone wash). Have you always preferred similar denim tones? Any particular reason why you don’t like wildly different denim?
Yes, I know, one of the main don´ts with double-denim is to wear similar denim shades, but for this look I was looking for a uniform canvas to give accessories central scene. I actually like both double-denim takes, but wearing two completely different denim shades is indeed a much safer and easy to wear option. Thank you for reading and commenting!

Thank you so much John!! This is one of the pedestrian streets of Badalona town centre. The city centre is actually quite nice, still keeping much of the character of old Badalona town, a fishing village back in the old days.
Badalona sounds like a very interesting town, Blanca. I’ll have to see it if travel opens up and I ever get back to Barcelona. The street scene reminded me of El Prat de Llobregat.
If you ever travel to Barcelona again, I really recommend a visit to Badalona. You can get there by tube or train in 20 minutes journey. The old city and town center are really nice. There´s a little harbour and a pretty big beach with a long seafront walking area.
Accessories, yes, it makes sense now! I have a denim dress, stops below my knee. I like it, but feel like a blue lamp post when I put it on. Ha ha 🙂
