I recently had the opportunity to try HARUHARU WONDER Black Rice 5 Ceramide Barrier Moisturizing Cream, a skincare product specifically formulated to care for and protect the skin barrier. These are my honest impressions after using it consistently for three weeks. I received this cream as a gift as part of the YESSTYLE influencer community program.

Con 5 cápsulas de complejo de ceramida, repone la hidratación y previene su pérdida. Esta crema mantiene la piel tersa y elástica, además ayuda a reducir la irritación y la inflamación. La crema está enriquecida con extracto de lías y extracto de corteza de brotes de phyllostachys pubescens, ambos con propiedades antioxidantes, para mejorar el tono y la textura desiguales de la piel.
HARUHARU WONDER Black Rice 5 Ceramide Barrier Moisturizing Cream is a face cream specifically formulated to treat and protect the skin barrier. With 5 ceramide complex capsules, it replenishes moisture and prevents moisture loss. This cream keeps skin plump and supple, plus it helps reduce irritation and inflammation. The cream is infused with lees extract and phyllostachys pubescens shoot bark extract, both with antioxidant properties, to improve uneven skin tone and texture.
Textura Texture
Esta crema tiene una textura súper consistente y ultra cremosa, pero no se nota nada pesada ni grasa en la piel. Se absorbe rápidamente dejando mi piel súper suave y elástica. This cream has a luxuriously thick and ultra-buttery texture, but it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on skin at all. It absorbs fast leaving my skin super soft and bouncy. A little bit goes a long way, which means I don’t need to apply much product. A very thin layer is enough to keep my skin hydrated and protected all day. This makes this cream perfect for layering with other skincare products such as toners, essences, serums and SPF.

This complex replenishes moisture, prevents moisture loss, keeps skin plump and supple, plus helps reduce irritation and inflammation The formula contains the brand’s signature antioxidant-rich fermented black rice extract to improve uneven skin tone and texture. The cream is also formulated with arginine, an aminoacid that boosts hydration and collagen production to protect the skin barrier and give a bouncy, glowing look to complexion. It also contains allantoin for deep hydration, as well as soothing and repairing damaged skin. Another key ingredient in the formula is vitamin E, which boosts the cream’s healing properties. The formula is fragrance free, being suitable for fragrance-sensitive skin types.

The packaging of this cream looks absolutely beautiful. I particularly find it lovely, delicate and elegant.
La crema viene en un frasco de porcelana con tapa de plástico en una combinación de colores blanco roto y malva suave, que me parece muy acertada. Aprecio el hecho de que venga en un frasco de cerámica en lugar de plástico, pero definitivamente lo reemplazaría por un frasco con dispensador para conservar mejor el producto y mantenerlo alejado de gérmenes. De hecho, esta es la única cosa que no me convence de està crema.
The cream comes in a porcelain jar and plastic cap in a dreamy off-white and soft mauve color combo. I appreciate the fact the cream comes in a ceramic jar instead of plastic, but I would definitely replace it for a pump-dispenser jar to preserve the product and keep it away from germs. In fact, this is the only thing I am not totally happy about this cream.
Por qué me encanta esta crema? Why I love this cream?
Debo admitir que soy bastante exigente con las cremas faciales y no me resulta fácil encontrar una que cumpa con todos los requisitos. Mi crema facial ideal debe hidratar mi piel durante todo el día protegiéndola de agresiones externas sin irritarla, debe tener una textura que se absorba rápidamente sin dejar sensación grasa, debe dejar mi piel con acabado natural sin crear brillos a lo largo del día, y no debe generar grumos al aplicar otros cosméticos o maquillaje. Dicho esto, esta crema me ha convencido de buenas a primeras.
I must admit I’m very picky with face creams and it’s not easy for me to find the right one that ticks all the boxes. My hero face cream must hydrate my skin all day, protecting it from external aggressions without irritating it, have a fast-absorbing texture that doesn’t’ leave my skin feeling greasy or pill when I apply other skincare products or makeup, leave a healthy, natural glow on my skin without creating undesired shine or greasy patches along the day. This said, this cream has won my heart from day one, which has been a wonderful surprise.
Hay dos cosas que me encantan de esta crema: su textura y su fórmula. La textura se funde con mi piel al instante, dejándola suave y elástica, sin sensación pegajosa ni grasa. La fórmula es un acierto total para proteger, calmar y reparar la barrera cutánea, además de mantener mi piel seca bien hidratada. Me encanta usar esta crema por las mañanas porque hidrata mi piel todo el día sin dejarla grasa ni pesada. Protege la barrera cutánea reduciendo la irritación y la inflamación. Se absorbe rápidamente y funciona de maravilla debajo del maquillaje, dejando la piel tersa y perfectamente preparada, evitando que la base de maquillaje se acumule en las líneas de expresión y los poros. Mi piel queda suave y con un glow muy natural. De hecho, aplicarla todos los días es un lujo porque deja una sensación muy reconfortante en mi piel. También me encanta el hecho de que se puede utilizar junto con otros cosméticos sin dejar residuo, lo que hace que mi rutina de mañana sea de lo más sencillo.
There are two things I absolutely love about this cream: the texture and the formula. The texture blends on my skin instantly, leaving it smooth and supple without any stickiness, greasy feeling or leaving any residue behind. The formula is truly spot on to protect, soothe and repair my skin barrier, as well as keep my very dry skin nicely hydrated. I love using this cream in the mornings because it hydrates my skin all day without feeling greasy or heavy. It protects my skin barrier reducing irritation and inflammation. It absorbs fast and it works great under makeup, leaving skin supple and perfectly prepped, reducing foundation slipping into lines and pores. My skin is left bouncy and naturally glowing. It’s a joy applying it every day because it leaves a very comforting feel on my skin. I also love the fact it layers well with other skincare products, making my morning skincare routine a breeze.
In all, I love this barrier cream because it provides immediate and all-day moisture for my dry skin and it effectively strengthens my skin barrier to prevent damage. My skin has become visibly smoother, healthier and resilient since using it consistently. This cream is suitable for all skin types even for those with sensitive skin like me.
