I must admit I’m quite picky with sunscreens and it’s not easy for me to find one that ticks all the boxes. Keep reading to discover if MIXSOON Cica-Hyal Sun Stick SPF 50+ has made a lasting impression on me.

Usar protector solar es una de las formas más efectivas y sencillas de prevenir los signos de envejecimiento prematuro causados por la exposición solar. Teniendo esto en cuenta, encontrar el protector solar adecuado es fundamental para adquirir el hábito de aplicarlo a diario. Personalmente, siempre tengo sitio para un nuevo protector solar. Creo que no existe un protector solar que se ajuste a todas las necesidades, sino que hay un protector solar para cada necesidad. Por este motivo, siempre estoy encantada de probar un nuevo protector solar e incorporarlo a mi colección si funciona para mi tipo de piel y mis necesidades.

Wearing sunscreen is one of the most effective and easiest ways of preventing premature signs of ageing caused by sun exposure. With this in mind, finding the right sunscreen is essential to get in the habit of applying it daily. Personally, I can never have enough sunscreens. I believe there is not a sunscreen that fits all needs but rather a sunscreen for every need. That’s why I’m always happy to try a new sunscreen and incorporate it to my collection if it works for my skin type and needs.

I have been curious to try MIXSOON for quite some time, as it’s a pure ingredient oriented skincare brand and I love skincare with pure formulations. This gift is the perfect way to have a first impression on this k-beauty brand.

Un protector solar refrescante e hidratante en formato barra que proporciona protección UVB SPF 50+ con más de 12 horas de duración. Se puede usar en rostro y cuerpo.

Personalmente me encantan los protectores solares en formato barra. Los encuentro increíblemente prácticos. Proporcionan una aplicación sencilla en cualquier lugar. MIXSOON Cica-Hyal Sun Stick SPF 50+ viene en un envase tipo stick pequeño y ligero que es ideal para el bolso, lo que permite llevarlo a todas partes fácilmente.

I particularly love sunscreens in stick format. I find them extremely convenient. They provide a mess-free, on-the-go application. MIXSOON Cica-Hyal Sun Stick SPF 50+ comes in a small and lightweight stick that perfectly fits in my bag, allowing easy portability.

Me encanta el envase minimalista de color blanco y verde suave. Viene en una caja de cartón con la misma combinación de colores. El producto se aplica fácilmente girando la parte inferior del stick y aplicando el protector solar directamente sobre la piel.

I love the minimalist stick in white and soft green colour combo. The packaging is completed with a cardboard box in the same color combo. The product allows a mess-free, easy application rotating the bottom of the stick and applying the sunscreen directly onto skin.

Fórmula Formula

Una de las cosas que más buena impresión me ha causado de este protector solar es su formulación. El producto está formulado con ingredientes ecológicos que son respetuosos con la piel y, al mismo tiempo, proporcionan un potente efecto de doble bloqueo de los rayos UV con una mezcla de protector solar orgánico y mineral. La fórmula es además reef safe, lo que significa que no daña la vida del entorno marino.

One of the things that I’m most impressed about this sun stick is the formulation. The product is formulatid with eco-friendly ingredients that are gentle with your skin, whilst providing powerful UV double blocking effect with a mix of organic and mineral sunscreen. In addition, the formula is reef safe, which means it doesn’t harm marine life.   

Este protector solar no sólo bloquea los rayos UV sino que también protege del envejecimiento prematuro de la piel, previniendo futuras arrugas y manchas y protegiendo del daño solar las ya existentes. Con un triple complejo de ácido hialurónico, deja mi piel hidratada y fresca. La fórmula también incluye extracto de centella, un ingrediente clave para calmar la piel. Se trata de una fórmula súper hidratante, además de ser muy respetuosa con mi piel sensible.

This sunscreen not only blocks UV rays but also protects from premature skin aging, preventing future wrinkles and dark spots and protecting the existing ones from sun damage. With a triple hyaluronic acid complex, it leaves my skin hydrated and cool. The formula also includes centella extract, a key ingredient for calming skin. The formula is super hydrating, plus it works really well for my sensitive skin.

Textura Texture

Me encanta la textura de este protector solar. Se nota súper ligera en la piel y este es un gran punto a favor para mí porque no soporto los protectores solares densos ​que dejan mi piel grasa y pegajosa y tardan una eternidad en absorberse. La textura es además muy hidratante y proporciona un acabado luminoso natural, que es exactamente lo que mi piel seca necesita.

I love this sunscreen’s texture. It feels extremely lighweight on my skin and this is a big pro for me, as  I can’t stand heavy sunscreens that leave my skin greasy and sticky and take forever to get absorved. The texture is very hydrating and provides a moisturizing natural glow, which is exactly what my very dry skin needs.

La textura se absorbe rápidamente, dejando una sensación refrescante en la piel. Me encanta la sensación ligera que deja y lo invisible que se nota en la piel. Es como si no llevara nada pero a la vez funciona de manera efectiva como un escudo contra el daño solar.

The texture absorbs fast leaving a long lasting refreshing feel on my skin. I love how lightweight it feels and how invisible it looks on my skin. It fels like wearing no sunscreen at all but a sheer hydrating veil that effectivlely protects against sun damage

Fragancia Fragrance

Este protector solar no tiene fragancia, por lo que es ideal para las pieles sensibles al perfume o para aquellas personas que prefieren los cosméticos sin perfume.

This sunscreen is fragrance-free, being perfect for skin types sensitive to perfume or for those who prefer unscented skincare.

En resumen, este protector solar de MIXSOON está totalmente aprobado. Me ha causado una impresión muy buena y me veo usándolo sin parar en los calurosos días de verano por su textura ligera de rápida absorción y el efecto refrescante que deja en mi piel. Sinceramente, no esperaba que me gustara tanto y ya tengo ganas de probar más productos de esta marca de cosmética coreana.

In overall, this MIXSOON sun stick is totally approved. It has madea very lasting impression on me and I can see myself wearing it non-stop in the hot summer days for the lightweight, fast abosrbing texture and the refreshing effect it leaves on my skin. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to love it so much and I can’t wait to try more products from this k-beauty brand.
