In this post I will share my honest review on WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue, WELLA Ultimate Repair Protective Leave-in and WELLA Ultimate Repair Night Serum.

Antecedentes Background

Mi cabello ha sido frágil, seco, con tendencia al encrespado y difícil de peinar desde que tengo memoria. Si sigues mi blog desde hace tiempo, sabrás que siempre estoy buscando productos capilares de lo más efectivos que traten mi cabello. Me encanta llevar el pelo largo, pero debido a la coloración, las herramientas de calor, la exposición al sol y problemas de tiroides, de medios a puntas, mi pelo está seco, sin brillo, quebradizo y dañado. Esto significa que necesito cuidarlo con especial atención para mantenerlo lo más sano posible. Siempre uso líneas de cuidado capilar reparadoras. En los últimos años, he optado por productos con tecnología bond repair (reparación de enlaces), ya que han demostrado ser los más efectivos y transformadores para reparar y proteger mi cabello dañado.

My hair has been dry, fragile, unmanageable and prone to frizz for as long as can I remember. If you have been following my blog for a while, you will probably know I’m always on the lookout for the most effective haircare products to bring my hair back to life. I love wearing my hair long, but due to coloring, heat tools, sun exposure and thyroid issues, from mid to ends, my hair is very dry, brittle and damaged. This means I need to give extra care to my locks to keep them as healthy as possible. I always use repair haircare lines. For the last few years, I turned to bond repair technology haircare, as it has proven to be the most effective and transformative to repair and protect my damaged hair.  

Hace unos meses me dieron una muestra del tratamiento WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue, pero no lo he probado hasta hace unas semanas, cuando se me acabó mi mascarilla favorita K18 Leave-in Repair Mask. Me impresionaron tanto los resultados que conseguí con un solo uso que decidí probar esta línea de cuidado del cabello.

Few months ago, I was given a sample of the WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue treatment, but I only got to try it few weeks ago when I ran out of my favorite hair treatment, K18 Leave-in Repair Mask. I was so impressed with the results I got with just one use that I decided to give this haircare line a proper try. 

WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue

Qué es? What is it?

Un tratamiento vegano que repara el cabello dañado en 90 segundos. Enriquecido con alfa-hidroxiácido (AHA) y omega 9, fortalece, suaviza y reconstruye el cabello dañado con resultados visibles desde el primer uso. Este tratamiento se presenta en formato spray sin aclarado y promete un cabello hasta 12 veces más suave y hasta un 99 % menos de rotura.

A vegan hair treatment that helps repair hair damage in 90 seconds. Powered by alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and omega 9, it strengthens, smooths and rebuilds damaged hair with visible transformative results from first use. This treatment comes in a leave-in spray format, and it promises up to 12 times smoother hair and up to 99% less breakage.

Cómo usarlo How to use it

Se trata de un tratamiento sin acarado en formato spray y el paso número 3 de la rutina Ultimate Repair. Se aplica en el cabello lavado y secado con toalla sobre el cabello dañado, generalmente de medios a puntas. Se aplican de 5 a 10 sprays para el cabello fino y entre 15 y 20 para el cabello grueso. Hay que espera 90 segundos antes de peinar o aplicar otro producto.

This is a spray leave-in treatment and the step 3 in the Ultimate Repair routine. Apply it to washed, towel-dried hair, focusing on damaged areas, generally from mid-lengths to ends. Use 5 to 10 sprays for fine hair and 15 to 20 for thick hair. Wait 90 seconds before styling or applying any other product.

Mi experiencia My experience

Este es mi producto favorito de esta línea. Cumple lo que promete, reparando mi cabello al instante y suavizándolo como ningún otro producto que he probado. Sanea mi cabello en solo 90 segundos, dejándolo suave y sedoso, a la vez que reduce el encrespamiento y la rotura. Mi cabello se ve y se nota más sano que nunca, y esto dice mucho de este tratamiento, porque he probado casi todos los productos con tecnología reparadora de enlaces capilares disponibles en el mercado. Este tratamiento repara mi cabello desde el interior con resultados visibles desde el primer uso y mantiene mi pelo sano con el uso continuado. Me encanta este tratamiento porque hace que mi rutina de cuidado capilar sea de lo más sencillo. Se aplica en 90 segundos, no necesita aclarado, deja mi cabello totalmente desenredado y fácil de peinar, lo que minimiza mucho el daño causado por fricción, y reduce el tiempo de peinado con secador a la mitad. Además, no apelmaza el cabello en absoluto ni deja una sensación grasosa o pegajosa. Todo lo contrario, deja mi cabello con más volumen y con más movimiento.

This is hands-down my hero product from this line. It truly delivers what it claims, repairing my hair instantly and smoothing it like no other haircare product I ever tried. It brings my hair back to life in just 90 seconds, leaving it silky and soft, as well as reducing frizz and breakage. My hair looks and feels healthier than ever, and this says a lot about this treatment, as I tried almost all bond repair haircare products available in the market. This hair treatment truly mends my hair strands from the inside out with noticeable results in just one use and keeping my hair in good health when using it regularly.  I love this hair treatment because it makes my haircare routine a breeze. It applies in 90 seconds, it doesn’t need to be rinsed out, it leaves my hair totally tangle-free and easy to comb, which reduces a lot of damage caused by friction, and it cuts down styling time with shorter, effortless blow dry sessions. In addition, it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all or leave any greasy or sticky feel. Totally the opposite, it leaves my hair with a fuller and bouncier feel.

Qué es? What is it?

Un serum de textura en crema que protege el cabello dañado de rotura, rayos UV, calor, daños mecánicos y encrespamiento, para un cabello visiblemente más suave y más sano. También está enriquecido con alfa-hidroxiácido (AHA) y omega 9.

A cream-serum that protects damaged hair from breakage, UV, heat, mechanichal damage and frizz for visibly smoother and healthier-looking hair. It is also infused with alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and omega 9.

Cómo usarlo How to use it

Se trata de un producto de styling sin acarado y el paso número 4 de la rutina Ultimate Repair. Tiene una textura cremosa ligera y viene en un envase con pulsador. Se aplica sobre el cabello mojado, después de haber aplicado WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue y esperado 90 segundos. Aplicar 1 dosificación para cabello fino, 2 para cabello normal y 3-4 para cabello grueso.

This is a leave-in styling product and the step 4 in the Ultimate Repair routine. It has a light, creamy texture and comes in a pump dispenser. Apply to wet hair after applying WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue and waiting 90 seconds. Use 1 pump for fine hair, 2 for medium hair and 3-4 for thick hair.

Mi experiencia My experience

Me encanta este serum protector. Para mí, funciona como un excelente producto de styling porque es un todo en uno, ahorrándome tiempo al no tener que aplicar varios productos que solo generan acumulación de residuos. Este serum repara mi cabello, lo protege del calor y los rayos UV, lo suaviza, reduce el encrespamiento y acorta el secado. De hecho, complementa y potencia los beneficios del tratamiento Ultimate Repair Miracle Rescue, con la ventaja añadida de proteger mi cabello del daño térmico. Una de las cosas que más me gusta de este serum es su poder hidratante y nutritivo. La mayoría de los productos de styling con tecnología bond repair que he probado son muy buenos reparando el cabello, pero se quedan cortos a la hora de hidratar y nutrir, sobre todo para mi pelo súper seco. Este serum no sólo repara mi cabello, sino que también lo hidrata proporcionándole un aspecto sedoso y dejándolo extra suave al tacto gracias a los agentes suavizantes y los aceites nutritivos de su fórmula. Este serum se ha convertido en mi producto de styling favorito y un imprescindible en mi rutina de secado. Al igual que WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue, este serum no apelmaza ni deja sensación grasa o pegajosa en el pelo.

I love this leave-in protective serum. For me, it works as the best styling product because it does all I want a styling product to do, saving me time to use several products in my routine that only create too much build up. It repairs, smoothes, protects from UV and heat damage, reduces frizz and cuts down styling time. It actually complements and amplifies the benefits of the WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Rescue treatment with the added benefit of protecting my hair from heat styling. One of the things I most love about this serum is how hydrating and nourishing it is. Most bond repair styling products I tried are really good at repairing hair, but they lack in hydrating and nourishing properties. This hair serum not only repairs my hair, but also leaves it silky smooth and extremely soft to the touch, thanks to the smoothing agents and nourishing oils in its formula. This serum has become my favorite styling product and an absolute must in my styling routine. As WELLA Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue, this serum doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave any sticky or greasy feel on my hair.

Qué es? What is it?

Un tratamiento de noche que corrige visiblemente la falta de brillo, la sequedad y la rotura del cabello, ayudando a repararlo mientras duermes. Con agentes hidratantes omega 9 y polímeros de defensa, protege el cabello de los factores estresantes nocturnos, como la fricción de la almohada.

An overnight hair treatment that visibly corrects dullness, dryness and breakage, helping to repair hair while you sleep. With omega 9 moisturizers and defense polymers, it protects hair from night stressors like pillow friction.

Cómo usarlo How to use it

Este serum funciona como un tratamiento de noche sin aclarado y es el paso 5 de la rutina Ultimate Repair. Viene en un envase con dosificador para una aplicación óptima. La cantidad recomendada es de 3 a 4 pulsaciones que se aplican de medios a puntas. Puede aplicarse sobre cabello mojado o seco.

This serum works as a leave-in overnight treatment and the step 5 in the Ultimate Repair routine. It comes in a pump dispenser for easy application. The recommended dosage is 3 to 4 pumps to be applied from mid-lengths to ends. It can be applied to wet or dry hair.

Mi experiencia My experience

Este tratamiento de noche competa a la perfección la rutina Ultimate Repair. Es ideal para aportar hidratación y suavidad extra entre lavados y mantener la melena sana con aspecto sedoso y súper suave al tacto. Además, proporciona brillo natural al cabello. Me encanta utilizarlo no sólo por las noches si no también entre lavados cuando mi pelo necesita un extra de hidratación. No apelmaza en absoluto y se puede reaplicar tantas veces como sea necesario porque no deja residuo ni el pelo graso. Es un aliado perfecto para aportar hidratación y brillo al pelo en cualquier momento. Este serum tiene una fragancia floral delicada y agradable, y es el más perfumado de los tres que he probado.

This overnight treatment perfectly complements the Ultimate Repair routine. It’s perfect for providing extra hydration and softness between washes, keeping hair healthy, silky, and incredibly soft to the touch. It also provides natural shine revining lack-luster hair. I love using it not only at night but also between washes when my hair needs extra moisture. It doesn’t weight hair down at all and can be reapplied as often as needed because it doesn’t leave any residue or make hair go greasy. It’s a key product to add moisture and shine to your hair anytime. The serum has a lovely delicate floral fragrance, being the most scented from the three products I tried.

Resumen Final thoughts

Sinceramente, no esperaba que esta linea de productos reparadores del cabello me convenciera tanto porque nunca he sido fan de la marca WELLA, pero estoy encantada de que Ultimate Repair funcione tan bien para mi! Me encanta el modo en que se ve y se nota mi pelo desde que utilizo esta gama de productos. Nunca antes había notado tanta mejora en la calidad de mi pelo con ninguna otra gama, y créeme, he probado de todo para el pelo. Esta linea capilar proporciona el saneamiento que el pelo dañado necesita con fórmulas ricas pero ligeras que fortalecen, hidratan, suavizan y restauran el pelo. Para mi, uno de los beneficios principales de estos productos, a parte de reparar mi cabello, es el hecho de que lo hidratan profundamente, que es algo la mayoría de gamas bond repair no logran. Puedo conseguir reparación e hidratación a la vez. Además, es una gama de productos premium a un precio más asequible que otras marcas como K18, KÉRASTASE, GISOU o OLAPLEX.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to love this haircare line as much as I do, as I have never been a WELLA haircare fan, but I’m so glad Ultimate Repair works so well for my hair! I love how this haircare line makes my hair feel and look. I never noticed such a major improvement in the quality of my hair with any other haircare line and believe me, I tried everything for my hair.  This range gives that reset damaged hair needs with rich yet not heavy formulas that strengthen, hydrate, smooth and restore my hair. For me, one of the main benefits of this repair haircare line, apart from truly repairing my hair, it’s the fact that it deeply hydrates it, which is something most bond repair haircare lines lack. I can get repairing and hydrating benefits in one go. In addition, it’s a premium haircare line at a much reasonable price tag than other brands such as K-18, KÉRASTASE, GISOU, or OLAPLEX.
