Mi experiencia con OLAPLEX Nº4P My experience with OLAPLEX Nº4P

A pesar de que he llevado el pelo de color rubio durante años, nunca me había atrevido a probar un champú matizador lila. Básicamente por dos razones. Una porque temía que mi cabello se volviera de color lila y otra porque los champús matizadores suelen resecar el pelo y el mío ya es lo suficientemente seco como para aportar más sequedad. Sin embargo, mi cabello suele adquirir matices cobrizos cuando el tinte se va degradando después de los lavados y con el contacto directo de la luz del sol, por lo que siempre tuve curiosidad de saber si un champú matizador podría ayudar a mantener a raya el matiz cobrizo. Confío plenamente en la marca OLAPLEX. Todos los productos que he probado de esta marca son de una calidad excepcional y realmente hacen lo que dicen. Cuando descubrí que OLAPLEX había lanzado un champú matizador, tuve claro que era mi oportunidad de probarlo.

Even though I’ve been wearing my hair blonde for many years, I never ventured to try a purple toning shampoo before. Basically for two main reasons. One: I always feared my hair would go all purple. Two: toning shampoos usually cause dryness and my hair is already too dry to add some more on top. However, my hair tends to get brassy when color starts fading after washings or with direct sunlight, so I always felt very intrigued if a toning shampoo could help to keep this brassiness at bay. I really trust OLAPLEX. All the products I tried from this brand are exceptionally good quality and they truly deliver results. When I found out OLAPLEX had released a purple toning shampoo I knew it was my chance to finally give it a go.

La primera vez que utilicé OLAPLEX Nº4P fui con mucho cuidado y seguí rigurosamente las instrucciones de uso, dejando actuar el champú en mi cabello durante solo un minuto. Me tranquilizó ver que mi cabello no se había vuelto lila ni había experimentado ningún cambio de color extraño. Todo lo que pude notar con esta primera prueba fue que mi cabello estaba mucho más brillante y seguía hidratado como si hubiera utilizado el champú normal OLAPLEX Nº4. Una semana después volví a usar OLAPLEX Nº4P, esta vez dejándolo actuar en mi cabello por cuatro minutos. Fue entonces cuando realmente noté los beneficios matificantes y neutralizadores de este champú. Los reflejos cobrizos eran mucho menos visibles y mi pelo había adquirido una tonalidad rubio miel muy bonita y natural. Desde entonces lo he estado utilizando de forma continuada y estoy muy contenta con los resultados.

The first time I used OLAPLEX Nº4P, I was very cautious and followed the usage instructions rigorously, lathering fully and leaving the shampoo on my hair for as little as one minute. I was delighted to see my hair hadn’t turned purple or experimented any weird color change. All I could notice with this first test was that my hair looked much shinier and it felt nourished as if I had used the regular OLAPLEX Nº4. A week later, I used OLAPLEX Nº4P again, this time leaving it on my hair for four minutes. This is when I really felt the toning and neutralizing benefits of this shampoo. The brassiness was less visible and it had been replaced for beautiful, natural honey-blonde hair. I’ve been using it regularly since then and I’m very happy with the results.

En lo que realmente destaca este champú es en aumentar drásticamente el brillo del cabello. Desde que lo utilizo una vez a la semana, mi cabello está más brillante que nunca, pero me refiero al tipo de brillo que sólo se consigue en la peluquería. En cuanto al efecto matizador, no puedo opinar como funciona para el cabello decolorado o con canas, pero si para el cabello rubio. Mi rubio ombré va desde la raíz rubio oscuro hasta las puntas rubio claro y OLAPLEX Nº4P realmente ayuda a neutralizar el tono del cabello, transformando los matices cobrizos en un rubio con una tonalidad más beige. No notarás un cambio de color drástico, sino una sutil transformación del tono del cabello. Al igual que con el resto de los productos OLAPLEX, con poca cantidad es suficiente, así que puedes esperar que este champú te dure mucho tiempo.

What this shampoo really excels in is dramatically increasing hair shine. Since using it once a week, my hair is shinier than ever, meaning hair salon quality-shine. Regarding the toning effects, I can’t comment for bleached or grey hair, but I can for blond hair. My ombré hair ranges from dark blonde roots to light blonde ends and OLAPLEX Nº4P definitely helps to get rid of brassiness, transforming coppery undertones into beige blonde ones. You won’t notice a dramatic color change, but a subtle  hair tone transformation. Like with the rest of OLAPLEX products, a little goes a long way, so expect this shampoo to last really long.

Mis tips al utilizar OLAPLEX Nº4P:

• Para mejores resultados, primero lavo mi cabello con OLAPLEX Nº4 (cualquier buen champú sin sulfatos puede servir) para eliminar suciedad y acumulación de producto en el cabello y luego utilizo OLAPLEX Nº4P dejando actuar durante 4 minutos.
• Si bien OLAPLEX Nº4P es seguro para utilizar a diario, no recomiendo usarlo cada vez que te lavas el cabello. Usarlo cada dos o tres lavados es más que suficiente para potenciar el brillo y mantener a raya los tonos cobrizos no deseados.
• El champú es muy concentrado, por lo que recomiendo usar poca cantidad de producto.

My tips when using OLAPLEX Nº4P:

• For best results, I wash my hair first with OLAPLEX Nº4 (any good sulfate-free shampoo will do the job) to remove dirt and any product buildup from my hair and then I use OLAPLEX Nº4P leaving it on for 4 minutes.
• Even though OLAPLEX Nº4P is safe to use daily, I wouldn’t recommend using it every time you wash your hair. Using it every two or three washes is more than enough to boost shine and keep undesired brassiness at bay.
• The shampoo formula is highly concentrated, so I recommend using a small amount of product.

En resumen, OLAPLEX Nº4P cumple lo que promete matizando y aumentado el brillo a la vez que repara e hidrata el cabello. En mi opinión, este es otro producto ganador de OLAPLEX que voy a seguir usando de firma continuada porque mantiene mi cabello rubio sin matices cobrizos y con un brillo espectacular.

Overall, OLAPLEX Nº4P delivers what it claims and it truly tones and boosts shine while repairing and hydrating hair. In my opinion, this is another winner product from OLAPLEX and I will continue to use because it leaves my blonde hair brass-free and with spectacular shine.
