- Paso 1: lava el pelo con chamapú, preferiblemente sin sulfatos y que sea poco cosmético, y no apliques acondicionador. Para que K18 Hair Mask funcione es necesario abrir las cutículas del cabello y dejarlo sin nada de producto para que sus ingredientes puedan penetrar en el interior del cabello.
- Paso 2: seca el cabello con una toalla.
- Paso 3: empieza por una pulsación de producto y utiliza más cantidad según lo largo y/o grueso que sea tu pelo. Reparte uniformemente desde las puntas hasta la raíz.
- Paso 4: peina con un cepillo desenredante para repartir el producto de forma uniforme.
- Paso 5: deja actuar K18 Hair Mask durante 4 minutos y no aclares. Peina como de costumbre. Si quieres aplicar algún producto de styling (protector térmico, crema de peinado, aceite…) sobre K18 Hair Mask, asegúrate de hacerlo después de esperar 4 minutos, si no corres el riesgo de que el tratamiento no actúe adecuadamente.
Para conseguir resultados óptimos, utiliza K18 Hair Mask consecutivamente durante 4-6 lavados y luego aplícalo como mantenimiento cada 3-4 lavados.
- Step 1: wash your hair with shampoo -preferably a sulfate-free, clarifying shampoo- and do not apply any conditioner. For K18 Hair Mask to work, you need to open the hair cuticles and clean off any product from your hair strands so that the ingredients in K18 Hair Mask can penetrate the hair shaft.
- Step 2: towel dry your hair.
- Step 3: begin with 1 pump of K18 Hair Mask and add more as needed depending on your hair length, or thickness. Work evenly into hair from ends to roots, one pump at a time.
- Step 4: use a detangling brush to comb your hair and distribute product more evenly.
- Step 5: leave K18 Hair Mask to work for 4 minutes and do not rinse out. Style as usual. If you wish to add a styling product -heat protectant, hair oil, styling cream- on top of K18 Hair Mask, just make sure you do it after the full 4 minutes, otherwise you risk ruining the treatment.
For optimal results, use K18 Hair Mask every 4-6 shampoos consecutively and then dropping it down to every 3-4 washes for maintenance.

Antecedentes Background
Siempre he tenido el pelo muy seco, débil, quebradizo y propenso al encrespamiento. Esto incluso antes de que empezara a teñirme y a utilizar herramientas térmicas. Ni rizado ni liso, mi cabello es ondulado pero sin definición, difícil de manejar y de peinar, por lo que siempre estoy buscando productos que puedan dar buen aspecto a mi melena. OLAPLEX es mi marca favorita porque es la única que ha logrado transformar mi cabello y dejarlo más manejable, sano y fuerte, reduciendo el encrespamiento, la rotura y las puntas abiertas. He probado desde marcas de supermercado hasta marcas de alta gama y ninguna me han dado los resultados que he obtenido con OLAPLEX. Justo cuando mi pelo tenía el mejor aspecto, a causa de las vacunas contra el Covid-19, sufrí una caída masiva de cabello y un debilitamiento severo del cabello. Las vitaminas, los champús y lociones anti-caída me ayudaron a reducir la caída, pero no conseguía recuperar mi cabello debilitado y devolverlo a su estado saludable. Hair supplements, hair growth shampoos and lotions helped to reduce the fall out, but my weakeaned hair was not getting back to normal. I seriously felt my hair could do with an intensive repair treatment. This is why I gave K18 Hair Mask a try.

Lo cierto es que confiaba tan poco en que hiciera algo para mi cabello, que no me arriesgué a comprar el tamaño grande y opté por la mini talla de 5ml. Pero sorprendentemente, funciona. Después del primer uso, mi cabello quedó con más volumen, más suave y mucho más sano. Pero hay más, los resultados más notables se produjeron después del tercer uso consecutivo de K18 Hair Mask.
K18 Hair Mask claims to reverse hair damage in just one use and only by leaving it on for 4 minutes with no need to rinse it out. It really sounds too good to be true, right? To be honest, I was so skeptical it would actually do anything for my hair, I didn’t feel like getting the full size and only went for the 5ml trial size. But quite surprisingly, it works. After the first use my hair was left feeling thicker and softer and looking much healthier. What’s more, the most noticeable results came after the third consecutive use of K18 Hair Mask.
La mascarilla se absorbe rápidamente sin dejar apenas residuo y es muy ligera, mucho más que los acondicionadores, las mascarillas o los producto sin aclarado convencionales, por lo que es una excelente opción para el cabello fino como el mío. Funciona también muy bien como desenredante del pelo mojado y tiene un perfume agradable muy suave y ligero. He estado utilizando K-18 Hair Mask durante algunas semanas, primero durante seis lavados consecutivos y luego una vez por semana, y el efecto reparador es realmente notable. The mask absorbs quickly into hair leaving minimal residue and it’s very lightweight, much more than conventional conditioners, masks or leave-in products, making it a great option for fine hair like mine. With a soft, clean fragrance, it also works really well as a detangler for wet hair. I’ve been using K-18 Hair Mask for a few weeks, first for six consecutive washes then once a week, and the repair effect is truly noticeable. My hair feels and looks healthier, thicker, with less frizz and with more body and bounce. I feel my hair is slowly recovering its natural health. It’s like the repair is actually permanent instead of being washed away. I feel my hair like new, as if I had been to the hairdresser’s to get a professional treatment.
Lo que más me gusta de K-18 Hair Mask, además de sus resultados visibles, es el poco tiempo que tarda en actuar y lo fácil que es de usar. En mi opinión, K18 Hair Mask es un gran producto de tratamiento porque realmente simplifica mi rutina de cuidado del cabello. Solo necesito lavarme el pelo con champú y aplicar esta mascarilla sin aclarado para que mi cabello quede más o menos como cuando uso OLAPLEX -mediante el uso de OLAPLEX Nº3 (tratamiento reparador), OLAPLEX Nº4 (champú), OLAPLEX Nº8 (mascarilla) y OLAPLEX Nº6 (crema moldeadora) y/o OLAPLEX Nº9 (serum capilar), lo que supone una rutina bastante compleja- con el añadido de que mi cabello queda significativamente con más cuerpo y flexibilidad, se mantiene limpio por más tiempo y se nota mucho más sano.
What I most love about K-18 Hair Mask, apart from the noticeable results, is how little time it takes to work and how easy it is to use. In my opinion, K18 Hair Mask is a great treatment because it really simplifies my haircare routine. I just need to wash my hair with shampoo and apply this leave-in mask to get the same results I do when I use OLAPLEX -this is using OLAPLEX Nº3 (repair treatment), OLAPLEX Nº4 (shampoo), OLAPLEX Nº8 (mask) and OLAPLEX Nº6 (styling cream) or OLAPLEX Nº9 (hair serum), which means quite a complex routine– with the added bonus that my hair looks significantly fuller, stays cleaner for longer and feels overall healthier.
Solo encuentro un par de inconvenientes en K18 Hair Mask. Su precio elevado (después de los buenos resultados que obtuve con la mini talla, compré el tamaño de 50 ml, que es con diferencia lo más que he gastado en un solo producto para el cabello) y su envase sencillo, que me parece un poco básico para un producto tan caro. K18 Hair Mask no es un producto barato, así que antes de invertir en el tamaño grande, recomiendo que pruebes el producto con la minitalla de 5 ml, que debería durar un par o tres de usos dependiendo de lo largo que sea tu pelo. Cada cabello es diferente y lo que funciona para algunas personas puede que no funcione para otras.
I only find two cons in K18 Hair Mask. The high price tag -after the great results I got with the trial size I bought the 50ml size, which is by far the most I ever spent on a single haircare product- and the simple packaging, which looks a bit basic for such a pricy product. K18 Hair Mask doesn’t come cheap, so before investing in the full size, I would recommend you to try the product with the 5 ml size, which should last you for a couple or three uses depending on your hair length. Each hair is different and what works for some people might not work for others.
En resumen, K18 Mair Mask es el tratamiento sin aclarado más efectivo que he usado nunca. Su efecto reparador es realmente transformador. Debo admitir que no me impresionó mucho la primera vez que lo utilicé, pero después del tercer uso noté auténticos resultados visibles y una mejora real en la calidad de mi cabello: un pelo restaurado, con más cuerpo y mucho más sano. Sin duda es el producto para el cabello más caro que he comprado nunca, pero la reparación que se obtiene con este producto me ahorra tener que comprar y utilizar un montón de mascarillas, acondicionadores, tratamientos y productos de peinado que no proporcionan ni la mitad de los resultados de K18 Mair Mask.
In overall, K18 Mair Mask is the most effective leave-in haircare treatment I ever used. The repaiing effect is truly transformative. I must admit I wasn´t that impressed the first time I used it, but after the third use I noticed genuine visible results and a real improvement in the quality of my hair: restored, thicker and altogether healthy hair. It definitely is the most expensive hair product I ever bought, but the amount of repair I get with just this product saves me to buy and use an arsenal of hair masks, conditioners, treatment and styling products that don’t deliver half the results of K18 Mair Mask.

Hi Patricia, you are so lucky! I wish my hair was straight and soft like yours. When I was a kid my hair was exactly like that and it didn’t hold any kind of styling either. But when I was about 15 it went all wavy, frizzy and unmanageable and it has stayed that way ever since. I guess if your hair is straight and soft you won’t be needing this kind of dramatic repair, but it’s always good to know there are backed-science haircare products that go a long way to repair hair if you ever are in need.
