Solo es cuestión de pensar dos veces antes de hacer algo y considerar el impacto negativo que esa acción puede tener para el medio ambiente. Puedo hacer esto de forma diferente para reducir su impacto negativo? Y la respuesta es sí. Siempre hay formas alternativas de hacer la cosas de un modo más sostenible. Estos pequeños gestos son los que verdaderamente marcan la diferencia. Esto no significa que debemos volvernos locos y transformar todos nuestros hábitos de la noche a la mañana. Se trata simplemente de tomar consciencia e incorporar pequeños cambios poco a poco para un estilo de vida más sostenible y respetuoso con el planeta.
Do you believe in the power of sustainability? I do. I believe we can all do our little bit to be more sustainable By adding up all these small actions we are making a big difference. It’s just a question of thinking twice before doing something and considering the negative impact that action may have for the environment. Can I do this differently to reduce the negative impact? And you’ll realize you can, in so many ways you’d be surprised. These little changes are the ones that really count. This doesn’t mean we need to go crazy turning our lives upside down all of a sudden. It’s all about taking conscience and slowly incorporating new habits for a more sustainable, environmentally-friendly lifestyle.

SUSTAINABLE SUSI cuenta con tres colecciones de accesorios: pinzas, coleteros y pañuelos para el pelo. La colección de pinzas para el pelo está hecha con acetato de celulosa de alta calidad, una alternativa ecológica al plástico convencional. Este acetato ecológico está producido con tejidos sintéticos derivados de plantas como la celulosa y el algodón. Es un lujo saber que estas pinzas para el pelo no sólo son preciosas y resistentes sino que además tienen un impacto positivo en el medioambiente.
SUSTAINABLE SUSI accessories features three main collections: hair clips, hair ties and head scarves. The hair clip collection is made of high quality cellulose acetate, an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic. This eco friendly acetate is produced with synthetic fabrics made of plant derivatives such as cellulose and cotton. It just feels so good to know these hair clips not only look beautiful and are very durable but also have a positive impact for the environment.

These sustainable hair ties and headscarves are unique and available in limited quantities. The sewing thread used is made from certified organic cotton and the premium embroidery yarn from environmentally friendly Tencel™ Lyocell. The elastic band used for the hair ties is also made of certified organic cotton and natural, degradable, vegan, plastic-free rubber with a longer life than conventional rubber bands. I personally think giving a second life to beautiful, high quality fabrics to create gorgeous hair ties and head scarves is a great way to be more sustainable with style.

I recently had the opportunity to discover two accessories of their products, the Hope Hair Clip and the Rebirth Silky Sea Hair Tie. If SUSTAINABLE SUSI had already captivated my heart for their sustainable values and procedures, my love for the brand just grew bigger when I received these accessories.
La pinza para el pelo es una preciosidad. Desprende calidad al cogerla y usarla. Sujeta mi pelo a la perfección sin tirar ni molestar, ya que es muy ligera. El material vegano y sin plásticos de la pinza es muy suave al tacto, sin notarse desperfectos de acabado. La pinza para el pelo Hope está disponible en varios colores pero personalmente me encanta en el color Mother of Pearl, un elegante tono marfil con un delicado efecto perlado rosa.
The hair clip is absolutely beautiful. It exudes quality when holding it and using it and it really is durable and resistant. The hair clip holds my hair perfectly without pulling or feeling uncomfortable, as it is very lightweight. The vegan, plastic-free hair clip material is extremely smooth with no imperfections to the touch. The Hope Hair Clip is available in serveral colors, but I particularly love it in Mother of Pearl, a timeless soft cream with a delicate pink pearlescent effect.
