In my journey to a healthier lifestyle, I learnt that swapping conventional beauty products for natural, organic and non-toxic alternatives is essential. These days natural beauty is having a major moment and it’s for a good reason. Natural, clean alternatives to conventional beauty products are actually really good. Not only they are gentle with your skin and good for your health but they also perform and deliver the same results – if not better- than their conventional counterparts. It’s no wonder that the more natural products I try the more I love the natural approach to beauty.

I recently had the amazing opportunity to add another natural brand to my skincare collection. BEAUTYLEI, an Italian beauty brand based in Rome that makes natural and organic skincare. All products are made in Italy using natural and organic ingredients.
La marca me ha obsequiado el producto BEAUTYLEI Siero Viso Rimpolpante, un serum de rostro diseñado específicamente para tratar el contorno de los ojos y los labios. Este obsqquio llega en el mejor momento porque últimamente mi rutina de belleza se centra en combatir la piel seca y los primeros signos de envejecimiento, por lo que cualquier producto antienvejecimiento es bienvenido.
The brand gifted me BEAUTYLEI Siero Viso Rimpolpante, a plumping face serum specially designed to treat the eye and lip contour. This gift comes at the perfect timing because lately my skincare routine is all about targeting dry skin and first signs of aging, so any anti-aging skincare product is welcome in my collection.

Principios activos Active ingredients
Este serum es un producto totalmente de origen vegetal. Sus dos principales ingredientes activos son el lúpulo (humulus lupulus) y el ácido hialurónico. Así como el ácido hialurónico es un ingrediente muy conocido que además es parte de mi rutina de cuidado facial desde hace tiempo, el lúpulo es totalmente nuevo para mí. El lúpulo tiene múltiples beneficios para la piel. Tradicionalmente se utiliza para curar heridas y calmar la inflamación. En cosmética el lúpulo se utiliza por su efecto estimulante sobre la producción de colágeno. Ayuda a reducir las arrugas porque contiene taninos que ayudan a tensar y tonificar la piel. Con propiedades antiinflamatorias, antioxidantes, hidratantes y antienvejecimiento, el lúpulo está especialmente indicado para las pieles secas y maduras.
This is a completely plant-based product. The two main active ingredients in this serum are hops plant (humulus lupulus) and hyaluronic acid. Just as hyaluronic acid is a well-known active ingredient which I incorporated to my skincare routine long time ago, hops plant is totally new to me. Hops plant has multiple skin properties. Traditionally, hops plant is used to heal wounds and reduce inflammation in skincare, hops plant is used for its boosting effect in collagen production Minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles because it contains tannins that can help to tighten and tone skin. With anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hydrating and antiaging properties, hops plant is specially good for dry and mature skin.
Por su parte, el ácido hialurónico es un humectante con una excelente viscoelasticidad y una alta capacidad de retención de la hidratación que ayuda a que la piel sea m ás flexible y elástica, además de reducir las arrugas y las líneas de expresión.
Likewise, hyaluronic acid is a humectant — a substance that retains moisture — with excellent viscoelasticity, and high moisture retention capacity that helps skin stretch and flex, as well as reduce skin wrinkles and lines.
Textura Texture
Este serum tiene una consistencia muy líquida y acuosa, por lo que es perfecto para aplicar debajo de otros cosméticos. El serum se absorbe muy deprisa, y me refiero increíblemente deprisa. Mi piel se lo bebe al instante. Se nota un pelín pegajoso durante unos segundos pero la sensación desaparece por completo una vez absorbido el producto. Mi piel queda suave, tersa y lista para aplicar serums y cremas más densas.
This serum has a very watery texture, which makes the perfect product for skincare layering. The product absorbs really quickly, I mean seriously quickly. My skin drinks it up immediately. It feels slightly sticky for a few seconds but once the product is absorbed there’s no tackiness left behind. My skin is left soft, supple and ready to take in heavier serums and creams.

The serum is also fragrance free, making the ideal product for fragrance–sensitive skin and for layering with other skincare products without mixing too many scents.
Aplicación Application
Este serum hidratante antienvejecimiento se aplica muy fácilmente. El serum está especificamente diseñado para el contorno de los ojos y los labios. Después de limpiar y tonificar la piel, se aplica en aquellas zonas con más presencia de arrugas y líneas de expresión. Yo lo aplico en el contorno de los ojos, alrededor de los labios, en las arrugas nasolabiales y en las arrugas del entrecejo. El serum se absorbe muy rápidamente y funciona de maravilla debajo de otros cosméticos y del maquillaje. Lo aplico dos veces al día, mañana y noche.
This hydrating and anti-aging serum applies effortlessly. The serum is specifically designed for the eye and lip contour. After cleansing and toning your skin, this serum should be applied to those areas with most presence of wrinkles and expression lines. I apply it around the eyes, around the lips, on nasolabial folds and frown lines. The serum absorbs really quickly, it layers wonderfully with other skincare and it works well under makeup. I apply twice daily, morning and night.

El envase no sólo es elegante y atemporal sino tambíe práctico y resistente. Me gusta epecialmente que el serum venga en un envase de cristal con pulsador hermético, ya queel producto se mantiene estable a lo largo de su uso.
The packaging not only is timeless and understated but also convenient and resistant. I particularly love that the serum comes in an airless pump glass bottle, as the product remains stable throughout its use.
Mi experiencia Mi experience
BEAUTYLEI Siero Viso Rimpolpante es uno de esos cosméticos que no me ha costado nada incorporar a mi rutina de cuidado facial: es muy fácil de aplicar, se absorbe al momento, es ligero, sin perfume, no deja sensación pegajosa, se puede combinar con otros principios activos y funciona muy bien debajo de otros cosméticos o del maquillaje.
BEAUTYLEI Siero Viso Rimpolpante is one of those products I ve been able to incorporate to my skincare routine effortlessly: it’s very easy to apply, it absorbs instantly, it’s very lightweight, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky, it’s fragrance-free, it can be paired with other active ingredients and it works wonderfully well layered with other skincare products or under makeup.
Una de las cosas que más me gustan de este serum es su efecto tensor inmediato. Al aplicarlo, la piel queda tersa, como más turgente y jugosa. Además he notado que con el uso continuado mi piel alredeor de los labios y en los surcos nasolabiales está más rellena, mientras que la piel del contorno de los ojos está mucho más suave. Es todavía pronto para ver su efecto antiarrugas porque solo lo he utilizado durante dos semanas, pero parece un serum antiedad prometedor porque en solo unos días ya he apreciado mejora en mi piel. Otro aspecto que me gusta de este serum es que no he notado ningún tipo de reacción alérgica en la piel al utilizarlo a diario y eso que el contorno de mis ojos es extremadamente sensible.
One of the things I love about this serum is the instant tightening effect that leaves in my skin. Once applied, my skin feels supple, taut, smother and juicier. With continued use, I noticed that the skin around the lip contour and the nasolabial area skin looks plumper, whilst the eye contour looks much smoother. It’s still early days to notice the anti-wrinkle effects of this serum because I have only used it for two weeks. It looks promising though, as in just a few days I already noticed an improvement in my skin. I also love the fact I haven’t experienced any skin allergic reactions with daily use, and this is a real plus, as the skin in my eye contour is extremely sensitive.
En mi opinión, este es un excelente serum para potenciar los resultados de cualquier rutina facial antienvejecimiento, especialmente cuando se busca una piel más tersa, rellena y firme alrededor de los labios y un contorno de ojos más suave y de aspecto más joven. In my opinion, this is a great serum to boost results of any anti-aging skincare routine, specially when looking for tauter, plumper and firmer skin around the lips and smoother, younger-looking eye contour. I’m very happy I incorporated this natural product to my skincare routine and I will continue to use once this bottle is finished.
