Una piel bonita y de aspecto saludable no se consigue de la noche a la mañana. La constancia es la base sobre la que se construye una piel sana, suave y radiante. Si bien en cosmética también es posible conseguir soluciones rápidas y resultados instantáneos, los beneficios a largo plazo y los resultados permanentes se obtienen con la constancia. Una mascarilla de arcilla puede purificar la piel al instante y unos parches para los ojos pueden disminuir bolsas en minutos, pero por lo general una piel sana, luminosa y con textura uniforme se consigue con una rutina de belleza aplicada a lo largo del tiempo. Es el compromiso constante lo que lleva a resultados transformadores. Todo ello sin olvidar que una dieta equilibrada, beber mucha agua, no fumar y no tomar alcohol también ayudan a tener una piel sana.

It’s the constant commitment that leads to transformative results. All this without forgetting that a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water, not smoking and not drinking alcohol also contributes to healthy skin.

To succeed with consistency in skincare, it’s essential to love the products you are going to apply on daily basis. Essentially, applying skincare has to be a delightful experience. It’s impossible to keep up with a consistent habit if you don’t feel comfortable using a skincare product. In my experience, if I love a skincare product, I’m always keen to apply it and I use it until the last drop. If I love the texture, the fragrance and the formulation, plus I notice both instant and long-term results, it’s guaranteed I’m going to apply it consistently.

Another important issue to be consistent is to build a habit. For instance, I got into the habit of applying eyelash serum every day as the first step in my morning routine after cleansing and this way I never miss applying it.
