Me encanta la cosmética natural y siempre me emociono cuando tengo la ocasión de probar un nuevo producto que pertenece a esta categoría. Más aún cuando se trata de una base de maquillaje. Soy bastante especial con las bases de maquillaje y me gusta tener de distintos tipos para llevarlas según la época del año y el look de maquillaje que voy a llevar, pero esencialmente todas deben tener ingredientes con beneficios para la piel, ser de larga duración y acabado natural.

I love clean beauty and I’m always excited when I get  to try a new product that falls into this category. Even more so when it’s a foundation. If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you will know I’m obsessed with foundations. I’m quite picky with foundations. I like having different kinds of foundations to match them to the season and the makeup look I’m planning to wear, but essentially all of them must have skin-loving ingredients,provide long lasting results and a natural finish.

La tienda de cosmética natural Amazingy me ha obsequiado una muestra para probarla y compartir mi opinión. ABSOLUTION COSMETICS es una marca de cosmética natural y sin tóxicos que conozco bien. He probado varios productos de esta marca francesa con certificación ecológica desde que empecé a aficionarme a la cosmética natural hace algunos años. Las fórmulas de sus productos se elaboran con extractos de plantas silvestres o con certificado ecológico, minerales y vitaminas. ABSOLUTION siempre se ha centrado en los ingredientes naturales para crear cosméticos con texturas agradables, fragancias delicadas, fórmulas puras y resultados efectivos. Amazingy clean beauty shop gifted me a sample to try and share my thoughts. With my love for clean makeup and foundations, ABSOLUTION COSMETICS is a clean beauty brand I know well. I tried several products of this certified-organic French brand since I began my journey to clean beauty some years ago. El envase The packaging

Soy una persona concienciada con el medioambiente y cuando un producto de belleza viene en un envase reciclable y sostenible, supone un valor añadido que da mucha calidad al producto y dice mucho del compromiso medioambiental de la marca. Personalmente, me encanta el envase de ABSOLUTION La Crème du Teint. Su recipiente de color rosa pastel con tapón crudo, me parece de una belleza discreta y atemporal ideal. El envase está diseñado ingeniosamente con un sistema de giro que extrae el pulsador sin necesidad de retirar el tapón. Este pulsador hermético permite una aplicación súper fácil y limpia, a la vez que mantiene el producto siempre fresco e higiénico.

I’m an environmentally conscious person and when a beauty product comes in an eco-friendly packaging, it’s a bonus that instantly elevates the quality of the product and shows the brand commitment with the environment. Personally, I absolutely love ABSOLUTION La Crème du Teint packaging. In a soft peach container and ivory cap, it looks understatedly beautiful. The packaging is also cleverly designed. The cap has a twist pump system that opens without the need to remove the cap, which makes it super practical to use. The airless pump makes application a breeze, whilst keeping the product always fresh.

Este envase sostenible es una de las mejoras de esta nueva versión del producto, hecho de monomaterial 100% reciclable, que además viene en una caja de cartón 100% biodegradable.

Fórmula Formula

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de esta base es su formulación. Además de ser vegana, cruelty-free, natural y sin tóxicos, me encanta el hecho de que está llena de ingredientes que cuidan la piel. Cuando la uso, no sólo consigo realzar mi piel sino también tratarla y cuidarla. Su fórmula pura y sin tóxicos contiene ingredientes de origen natural como:

• Té verde, un potente antioxidante que protege la piel de los radicales libres.
• Aceite de tamanu con propiedades regeneradoras y reparadoras para ayudar a atenuar manchas, marcas y cicatrices.
• Hidrosol de helicriso con propiedades circulatorias y cicatrizantes para igualar el tono de la piel y prevenir la aparición de imperfecciones.
• Escualano de oliva para suavizar la piel.
• Aceites de sésamo. jojoba, moringa y rosa mosqueta para nutrir y equilibrar la piel.
• Arcilla de sílice y bentonita para matificar la piel.
• Aloe vera para calmar la piel.
• Extracto de Edelweiss con propiedades antioxidantes y revitalizantes.
• Brote de bambú para hidratar la piel.

Se trata de una fórmula súper hidratante y nutritiva, además de ser muy respetuosa con mi piel sensible.

Formulation is one of the things I’m most impressed about this foundation. Apart from being vegan, cruelty-free, natural and non-toxic, I love the fact this foundation is packed with skin-loving ingredients. When I wear it, I’m not only enhancing my complexion but also treating and caring for my skin. The pure, non-toxic formula contains naturally derived ingredients such as:

• Green tea, a powerful antioxidant that protects skin from free radicals.
• Tamanu oil with regenerative and repairing properties to help fade dark spots and scars.
• Helichrysum hydrosol with circulatory and healing properties to even out skin tone and prevent the appearance of blemishes.
• Olive squalane to soften skin.
• Sesame. jojoba, moringa and rosehip oils to nourish and balance skin.
• Silica and bentonite clay to mattify skin.
• Aloe vera to soothe skin.
• Edelweiss extract with antioxidant and revitilizing properties.
• Bamboo shoot to moisturize skin.

The formula is super hydrating and nourishing plus it works really well for my sensitive skin.

Textura Texture

Esta base de maquillaje líquida tiene una textura bastante densa. Es cremosa y se extiende bien sobre la piel, permitiendo una aplicación fácil e impecable. No se seca al instante, por lo que permite trabajar la textura y reaplicar para conseguir una mayor cobertura. Se asienta muy bien sobre la piel sin dejar marcas ni residuo. 

This liquid foundation has quite of a thick consistency. The texture is creamy and it blends well allowing an easy and seamless application. It doesn’t dry fast, so it allows you to work the product and build coverage for several minutes until it settles beautifully onto skin without patching or pilling.

Cobertura y acabado Coverage and finish

Este maquillaje fluido proporciona cobertura natural y sensación de segunda piel con un acabado mate luminoso muy favorecedor. Su cobertura es transpirable, por lo que mi piel se siente cómoda con aspecto saludable todo el día. En mi piel seca tiene una duración de 12 horas sin cuartearse, acumularse en arrugas ni resaltar brillos. No es una base 100% libre de transferencia, pero no mancha ni se desplaza al tocarla. Aguanta bien sin formar parches.

This liquid foundation provides natural coverage and second skin feel with a beautiful matte luminous finish. The coverage is breathable, leaving my skin feeling comfortable and looking healthy all day. In my dry skin and it lasts for 12 hours. It’s not a 100% transfer-free foundation,  but it doesn’t get messy to the touch. It holds well without parching.    

Fragancia Fragrance

Otra cosa que me gusta de esta base de maquillaje es su delicada fragancia de notas dulces. Natural, agradable y nada intrusiva, su fragancia hace que la aplicación sea una una auténtica experiencia sensorial.

Another thing I really love about this foundation is the delicate sweet fragrance. Natural, pleasant and non-intrusive, it makes application a a really nice sensorial experience.

Visión general Overview

ABSOLUTION La Crème du Teint es un producto de maquillaje hibrido que une los beneficios de tratamiento de una BB cream con la cobertura y color de una base de maquillaje. Me parece una base ideal para usar a diario porque simplifica y potencia los beneficios de tratamiento de mi rutina de cuidado facial, Mi piel es muy seca y la fórmula de esta base es tan hidratante y nutritiva que no necesito aplicar crema hidratante debajo. De hecho, encuentro que este producto se asienta y queda mejor en la piel sin crema hidratante. Lo aplico en mi cara limpia después del tónico, serum y protector solar. Su cobertura parece ligera y de acabado luminoso de inicio, pero una vez se asienta en la piel, proporciona una cobertura media que unifica el tono y difumina imperfecciones con un acabado mate luminoso muy natural. El resultado no es empolvado ni con efecto máscara, sino suave y aterciopelado. Me encanta el efecto segunda piel que proporciona. El acabado es muy natural y mi piel queda con efecto buena cara, radiante pero sin brillos.

ABSOLUTION La Crème du Teint is a hybrid makeup product that pairs the skin benefits of a BB cream with the color and coverage of a foundation. In my opinion, this foundation is perfect for everyday use, as it simplifies and boosts my morning skincare routine. Even with my very dry skin, the formula is so hydrating and nourishing that I don’t need to apply moisturizer. In fact, I find this product blends and looks better on my skin without moisturizer. I apply on my clean face after toner, serum and SPF. Coverage looks light with a glowy finish just after application, but once it settles on skin, it provides a medium coverage that evens out my complexion and hides imperfections with a very natural luminous matte finish. The result doesn’t look powdery or cakey, but soft and velvety instead. I love this second skin coverage it delivers. The finish is very natural and my skin looks healthy and radiant with no shiny patches.

Desde la primera aplicación se nota que la fórmula está llena de ingredientes que tratan y cuidan la piel. En cierto modo, parece como si estuvieras aplicando un cosmético. Esta base es muy cómoda de llevar y deja mi piel hidratada todo el día, a la vez que sus ingredientes antioxidantes la protegen de las agresiones externas.  Para mí, ABSOLUTION La Crème du Teint va más allá de las BB creams y las cremas con color. Su acabado es como el que proporciona una base de maquillaje. Unifica el tono y proporciona color con una cobertura media de acabado mate natural que mantiene los brillos a raya. Todo ello sin renunciar a los múltiples beneficios más propios de un cosmético que de un maquillaje, como propiedades hidratantes, nutritivas, calmantes, cicatrizantes y protectoras. En resumen, esta es la mejor base de maquillaje que he probado hasta ahora en la categoría de bases naturales y sin tóxicos. Pienso que es una gran elección para el maquillaje diario. Iguala el tono con una cobertura muy natural a la vez que trata la piel con una fórmula vegana, natural y sin tóxicos llena de ingredientes beneficiosos para la piel.

You can tell from first application the formula is packed with skin-loving ingredients. In a way, it feels like you are applying skincare. With a very comfortable wear, this foundation leaves my skin feeling hydrated all day, while the antioxidants in its formulation protect my skin from external aggressors. For me ABSOLUTION La Crème du Teint goes beyond BB creams and skin tints. The finish is more foundation-like. It evens out my skin tone with medium coverage and a natural matte finish that keeps shine at bay. All this without compromising in multiple benefits you would expect from skincare rather than makeup, such as hydrating, nourishing, soothing, healing and protecting properties. In all, this is the best foundation I tried so far in the clean beauty category and I think it’s a great choice for everyday use. It evens out skin tone beautifully with a very natural coverage whilst caring for your skin with an outstanding vegan, natural and non-toxic formula packed with skin-loving ingredients.
