As much as I love clean beauty, I’ll be the first to admit that transitioning to clean makeup can be a little overwhelming. Once you are aware of the amount of harmful chemicals hidden in conventional makeup, you suddenly want all your makeup to be non-toxic and do a complete overhaul. In addition, it feels hard to let go of your favorite and infalible conventional makeup products you’ve been using for years and find a clean alternative that performs as good.
Para simplificar el proceso, sigo una estrategia que consiste en reemplazar el maquillaje convencional que se va acabando o el que está a punto de caducar por alternativas más naturales y sin tóxicos. De este modo, el paso al maquillaje natural se hace de una forma más gradual y resulta mucho menos abrumador.
To simplify the process, I’ve implemented a strategy which consists in slowly replacing the conventional makeup products that are running out or the ones that are about to expire for cleaner, more natural alternatives. This way, the transition to clean makeup gets done gradually and feels less overwhelming.

I recently incorporated two RMS BEAUTY products to my makeup collection, the ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush and the Eyelights Cream Eyeshadow. Amazingy clean beauty shop kindly gifted me these products to share my honest review. Both products have gone viral on social media recently, so I was very curious to knos if they are worth the hype.
RMS BEAUTY ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush
He visto aparecer este blush sin parar en las redes sociales y tenía mucha curiosidad por probarlo. Me encantan los productos de belleza multitarea y me llevé una grata sorpresa cuando supe que este blush es un dos en uno. Funciona como rubor y como iluminador a la vez, esculpiendo las mejillas con color multidimensional y dando luminosidad a la piel. Con este blush consigo color y luminosidad en mis mejillas en un solo paso, por lo que es ideal para uso diario al simplificar mi rutina de maquillaje.
I’ve seen this gorgeous blush all over social media and I was very curious to try it. I love multitasking beauty products and I was very happy to learn this is a double duty blush. It works as a blush and as a highlighter, sculpting cheeks with dimensional color and adding natural glow to skin. I get color and glow on my cheeks in just one step, so this works as the perfect blush for everyday use to simplify my makeup routine.
RMS BEAUTY ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush destaca por su calidad y resultados. Con su fórmula única de gel en polvo, proporciona hidratación y resultados duraderos. Su textura ligera se aplica uniformemente, se desliza fácilmente y cubre impecablemente, proporcionando color y luminosidad de larga duración. I love the gorgeous luminous finish of this blush and the natural looking glow it provides. Neither glittery or powdery, it’s just a lightweight veil of color and glow that doesn’t emphasize pores or imperfections and gives my skin a natural radiant look.

The blush is available in 9 different shades to suit all skin tones. My shade is Crystal Sleeper, a subtle sunkissed buff that can be layered on for a more dramatic look.
El pigmento se ve bastante oscuro en el envase, pero una vez sobre la piel el resultado es sutil y traslúcido. Este producto no solo funciona como rubor e iluminador, sino también como sombra de ojos. Llevo este compacto en mi bolso y lo aplico fácilmente allá donde estoy en mis mejillas y párpados para dar luminosidad y buena cara a mi rostro.
The pigment looks quite dark on the pan, but once on the skin the result is subtle and sheer. This product not only works as a blush and highlighter, but also as eyeshadow. I take the compact in my makeup bag and I apply it effortlessly on the go on my cheeks and eyelids to give a healthy glow to my complexion.
El rubor viene en un bonito envase compacto blanco con espejo interior de buen tamaño. El compacto está fabricado con plástico reciclable y es recargable. Realmente valoro el hecho de que el compacto sea recargable, una forma muy efectiva de reducir residuos plásticos. La caja exterior de cartón está fabricada con un 80% de papel reciclado y grabada con tinta vegetal. El compacto contiene una generosa cantidad de 7gr de producto y se presenta en un precioso relieve de diseño geométrico que me encanta.
This blush comes in a beautiful white compact with a conveniently sized inside mirror. The compact is made with recyclable plastic and it’s refillable. I really appreciate the fact the compact is refillable, a very effective way to reduce plastic waste. The outer carton box is made with 80% recycled paper and vegetable ink. The compact contains a generous 7gr of product and comes in a chic geometric design embossing that makes this blush look truly unique.
En general, estoy muy contenta con esta nueva incorporación a mi colección de maquillaje natural, ya que destaca en todo y reemplaza a la perfeccion todos mis rubores convencionales.
In all, I’m very happy with this new addition to my clean makeup collection, as it excels in everything and it replaces wonderfully all my conventional blushes.

Por norma general soy partidaria de las sombras de ojos en crema. Si tengo la opción, y sobre todo cuando tengo poco tiempo, prefiero las sombras de ojos en crema que las sombras en polvo. Son más fáciles y rápidas de aplicar, funcionan mejor para pieles maduras y se obtiene un acabado más impecable, incluso si no eres experto en la aplicación de sombras de ojos. He visto los tubos de RMS BEAUTY Eyelights Cream Eyeshadow en mi feed de Instagram y he leído críticas muy buenas, así que tenía muchas ganas de probar esta sombra de ojos en crema.
I’m a big fan of cream eyeshadows. Given the choice, and specially when I’m short of time, I favor cream eyeshadows to powder ones. They are easier and faster to apply, they work best for mature skin and you get better results, even if you are not a pro applying eyeshadow. I’ve seen the cute tubes of RMS BEAUTY Eyelights Cream Eyeshadow all over my Instagram feed and read really good reviews, so I was very excited to finally try this clean cream eyeshadow.
RMS BEAUTY Eyelights Cream Eyeshadow es una sombra de ojos en crema de larga duración, que no se cuartea y con propiedades nutritivas. This one of a kind cream eyeshadow applies effortlessly with brush or fingers. It’s fast drying, so you have to blend fast from center outwards. Once it settles, it stays put all day without creasing, flaking or smudging at all. This is the most long lasting crease proof cream eyeshadow I’ve ever tried. I don’t need to apply eye primer to get amazing hold. It stays in place and doesn’t wear off for hours.

This non-toxic cream eyeshadow is available in 10 shades. My shade is Sunbeam, a golden coral pink. Warm, bright and flattering, I can see this hue particularly shining in summer paired with tan skin. I’m already planning to buy it in Moondust and Blaze, as I love the formulation and I can’t wait to have it in cool toned hues.

I love the beautiful light reflective, metallic finish of this eyeshadow. The depth and pop of color is amazing. My eyes look instantly lit with fabulous color and shine with no hint of glitter or fallout.

En general, me encanta lo bien que queda esta sombra de ojos en crema sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el mínimo esfuerzo que se requiere para aplicarla. Además estoy impresionada con lo bien que funciona su fórmula natural y sin tóxicos.
In all, I love how beautiful this cream eyeshadow looks considering the minimal effort it requires to apply it, plus I’m truly impressed with the performance of its clean formula.
