With January comes with a list of New Year’s resolutions. Discover my style resolution for the New Year plus the pieces and tips I’ll be using to achieve it.
El Año Nuevo significa nuevos propósitos y este año tengo la intención de dar un toque más moderno a mis estilismos. Siendo fiel a mi estilo, la idea es conseguir que mis estilismos queden más únicos y actuales incorporando piezas inesperadas y contrastando estilos. Se trata de ser un poco más arriesgado y probar cosas fuera de lo común.
Tip de estilo: mezclar estampados, materiales y estilos siempre garantiza un resultado inesperado. Prueba combinaciones como el charol con el ante, la seda con el punto o el estilo informal con el elegante para crear estilismos totalmente sorprendentes.
The New Year calls for new resolutions and this year I’m planning to give a little edge to my outfits. Staying true to my style, the idea is to make my outfits look a bit more modern and unique by incorporating unexpected pieces and mixing styles. It’s all about being a bit more adventurous and trying out of the ordinary things.
Style tip: a mix of prints, materials and styles always guarantees an edgy result. Try fun pairings such a patent leather and swede, silk and knit or casual and chic to create totally unexpected outfits.

I like the combination of materials and textures. I also wear pearls with a more relaxed outfit. The rule is one digression outside the norm, simplicity, and clean lines. I love boldness and a style that deviates a bit from the usual. I am especially fond of retro, antique pieces that I find in my searches. They fit so nicely with the new one. I pay special attention to cosmetics, especially face creams. I especially liked this nail polish and your shoes dear Blanca. Thank you for another inspiration, you know I love this topic. A pair of good quality designer shoes I bought for10 € and they are surprisingly comfortable. The nail polish is a beautiful dark hue full of classic glamour.
