La centella asiática, que también se conoce como cica o gotu kola, es una planta nativa del sudeste asiático y ha sido utilizada durante mucho tiempo en la medicina tradicional china y ayurvédica por sus propiedades curativas y calmantes. Centella asiatica, which is also known as cica or gotu kola, is a plant native to Southeast Asia and has long use in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine for its wound-healing and soothing properties. The plant with lily pad-esque leaves goes by the nickname tiger grass because tigers roll in it when they’re injured. Despite centella asiatica being around for centuries and been a common ingredient in skincare products for a long time, it’s really taken off in the last few years and it’s currently having a moment.
